"Recover Deleted Files Now" is a file recovery tool for Windows. It can be used to scan your hard drives for files that might have been accidentally deleted or otherwise lost. The application supports flash drives, USB drives, memory cards, and hard drives and the FAT16, FAT32 and NTFS (NTFS3, NTFS4, NTFS5) file systems.
"Recover Deleted Files Now" has a free 15-day trial version which is fully functional. In fact, you can even use it to recover full files. Most other solutions only let you scan for files that might be recoverable in their trial version. This application gives you a chance of recovery for each file that it finds.
The only way of knowing if this tool will do what you need it to is to test it thoroughly. In my own testing, I grabbed a couple of files and deleted them by sending them to the Recycle Bin and by using the Ctrl+Del key combination. I then told the app what file type I was looking for by typing in the file extension. It successfully found both files. It's worth noting that "Recover Deleted Files Now" has only one filtering option and that is to specify the file type.
In a nutshell, the application worked well for me and the 15-day trial is a blessing for users in distress.
